Your friendly neighboor hip-hop producer, the Bad Fathers, & Prity loaded our van,
"the roach", with a cooler full of cold cuts, several gym bags of merchandise,
and four suitcases--including Prity's 8 pairs of shoes stuffed in a garbage sack
--and embarked on a 10 hour drive to Cincinnati, OH. for the 2003 version of. . .

Scribble Jam

We reserved a merchandise booth for the weekend event to sell CDs, T-shirts,
pass out flyers, and most importantly, to stash our booze.

With a borrowed camera and two rolls of film, I ran around and snapped pics from Friday
'till Sunday afternoon. Here are some of the best shots.

Eyedea of Rhymesayers & Tack-FuTack-Fu & Mr. Dibbs
I was chit-chatting with Eyedea's mom when her son
strolled over to the both of us.
So, I threw her the camera. "Say cheese!"
Eyedea does what Mom says.
Mr. Dibbs is one of the founders of Scribble Jam.
This picture was taken by Slug of the Rhymesayers.
Lovely flowers in the background
blend in well with Mr. Dibb's tatoos.
Murs & Tack-FuTack-Fu & Slug of Rhymesayers
In the club Friday night I saw Murs
of Bay Area's super group Living Legends
hocking his lastest solo project
Gotta' respect the man's hustle.
Oh yes, Slug. He's one of my favorite emcees on
the scene. However, your friendly neighborhood
hip-hop producer cannot afford the type of cash
he expects for 16 bars of lyrics.
I guess a picture will do for now.

I'm sure we'll cross paths in the future and build.
Negro Sco is a emcee from Kansas City

an emcee that I work with also...what a small world!
